Better food than fried crud, that's for sure

Eh you would've been better off at Popeye's anyway. I've had nothing but poor service/experiences with KFC. Multiple locations, across multiple states. Just not worth it to me anymore. Last time I was going to get KFC, I was treated like crap that I literally walked out without paying and went down the road to Kroger and got their 8pc fried chicken basket for half the price. Surprisingly it wasn't as greasy as my KFC order would've been.

Oh, I much prefer Popeyes over KFC, but it would've been out of the way. The quality of KFC chicken has gone way downhill it seems.

Same location I ordered their spicy mac and cheese last month and this is what they gave me!
Inedible nastiness-drowning in some sort of liquid shit!

I just finished replacing the batteries in all of the smoke detectors. What a pain. Last year they all went off at 2am on Thanksgiving morning because of low batteries and I didn't have any in the house. I had to make a run to a gas station that was luckily open to get some. Nipped that problem in the bud right now.

Sounds like you have a "smart" smoke detector if they all went off at the same time. I have a Nest protect and it doesn't skip a beat in telling me I need to replace the batteries. The light will glow a different color, the app will notify me and I'll get the lovely bird chirp until I change 'em.

I wouldn't recommend blind buying that movie if I were you, unless you have already seen it.

I just took the trash cans down to the end of the driveway and it smells like a skunk exploded out in my front yard.

Also, I have fresh from the oven apple pie with vanilla ice cream...mmmmmmm.

Too late, I already bought it! I have seen the trailer once and I think that I'll like it. If not, I'll blame you for warning me too late

I can't get over how much music sucks today. I don't listen to any of it except at work where they run a loop over a loudspeaker. All day long I have to listen to that repetitive crap by no talent nymphs. At least the "songs"are short

I don't listen to any music today if I can help it, although I don't mind if it's from the sixties through to the eighties (when visiting the local film and music store, if I'm lucky I might hear some older music being played (there were a couple of disco-era tracks being played, one of which had me stumped as to what it was). The nineties music that I heard on Top of the Pops back then I was mostly bored by in the first few years of the decade (was never a fan of Britpop and The Spice Girls, although on a documentary shown a few months ago, there are a couple of female-led Britpop groups which interested me). However, while watching the BBC Four repeats of Top of the Pops from the first four years of the nineties, I've found more music I've liked than I did back then.

They'll start playing the Christmas songs in the stores soon, which I don't mind if they play some of the less well-known ones. But I am glad when they get back to the normal songs.

It could be a sign that we're getting old...as typically the previous generation always hates the current stuff but it is pretty bad these days. I rarely buy anything new. Such garbage released as of late.

The Christmas playlists starts earlier every year. As soon as Halloween is over I think is now the standard.

Every time I hear 80's music on a store speaker I perk up. Sometimes I'll even sing along if there's no one nearby

I prefer Super Jewel Cases for movies over the standard Cases.

The sad part is just like with many new movies, they're all rehashed/remixed versions of older stuff anyway. That, in my opinion makes it garbage instantly.

That's probably my favourite decade for music, the eighties. Yet the two songs I like the most are from the seventies (by John Miles and The Eagles). I like to actually hear what the artist/artists is/are singing, rather than struggling to understand what they're saying. You have to make notes of songs, films and TV shows before you forget what you were trying to remember.

I agree, you hear a certain song which is among your favourites and it does boost your spirits/gives you a mental boost. I look forward to Friday nights because, even though the aforementioned music programme is currently on the tail end of the early nineties now, hearing a bit of music gives you a welcome boost.

With Hallowe'en coming soon, I do like hearing Mr. Sandman by The Chordettes and Don't Fear the Reaper by Blue Oyster Cult.
