But the issue is has anyone gotten their shipping notification for the giant £99 set? It was supposed to come out a week ago but there’s been no movement on mine. I got a shipping notification for VIDEODROME this morning that streeted a whole week after FIRST BLOOD allegedly did, so even though Zavvi customer service assured me my FB will dispatch soon, I feel like I’m being jerked around.

No it's not StudioCanal, this is a US set coming from Lionsgate.

Yeah, SC are doing their own thing. Lionsgate are looking to add OG audio wherever possible, including the 70mm audio for FBpt2, Dobly Vision with revised grading, and different versions of Last Blood (though not every single one, aren't there like 37 different cuts? lol).

audio aside for a second, regarding the video itself, are they doing any new restoration work to the masters for the first 3 films? Meaning are we going to see more detail and tighter grain or are they just using existing masters and slapping them with DV to give more pop?

I'm just asking because it seems that the audio (according to what you've been hinting) will be the real star of the party with less emphasis on the video. Not that I'm not looking forward to the new grading, just trying to get an idea of how different they will look compared to the current ones.
