Hallelujah! Looking forward to receiving my copy.

I watched the new German All Quiet On The Western Front the other day (a 2D movie, of course). As well as being shell-shocked by the whole thing, I spent most of the film just wishing it had been in 3D, it looked perfect for it: Not just beautiful composition & photography, but all nice long & steady shots too.

At Elsinore’s prompt, rewatched Noah. It’s an interesting movie with some really good 3D, including pop outs. Highly recommended.

I never got to finish Noah from a few years back, we couldn’t get into it but perhaps need to give it another shot.

It's less in-your-face than Man in the Dark and still keeps a lot behind the screen but that's true of most Golden Age titles. I prefer unrestrained Silver Age 3D myself but this is the next best thing and certainly doesn't disappoint.

Because the film doesn't suffer from modern editing it's a pleasure to be able to take in all the layering and separation. I recall one shot seeming out-of-focus but overall picture quality was excellent.

Needless to say, I, The Jury is a must-see title.
Thanks, sounds very worthwhile!, I’ll be ordering a copy.

I don't know how many would want it, but there's at least 15 copies of Space Dogs on the Brazilian used market website that I visit. they're also very cheap. thing is with shipping and all, it could escalate the price quickly. might add it to my list just for fun.

Lots of options. But having crossed this bridge, I recommend this option. Wait for a cold winter day, take the loonies you were going to spend, put lighter fluid on it and burn it. At least it won't be a total waste since it'll keep you warm for 30 seconds. The blu-ray of the 3-D Space Dogs on the other hand will last for decades...

Actually, new option. Spend the loonies, get Space Dogs, watch it in disbelief, then burn it. The fire will last much longer than 30 seconds....just avoid breathing the carcinogenic fumes.

Watched Tales of the Night (region B). Really wished I’d followed Joe’s advice and gotten a version with English subs. Unfortunately couldn’t find one at a decent price. Lots of dialog in French I didn’t understand, but beautiful 3D layered cartoon animation. Loved the look.

Agree that the 3-d photography was mostly excellent and is a must see. Several scenes that had one of the characters standing well in front of the screen talking to others at or behind the screen. So they used all the 3-d space.

Hi Joe,

Sorry; I didn't know. I bought that one and a couple of other 3D discs from that source, so maybe am sitting on a bad disc. I will try to watch it relatively soon, to confirm whether it does have problems, and report back in this thread.

That would be fantastic. I had this disc bought and paid for on ebay a while back, but then cancelled on hearing of these glitches. You confirming wether or not this has been fixed on this current batch that is for sale would be very very helpful.

Questions about The Illusionauts (AKA Os Ilusionautus, AKA Freedom Force), and the flawed Turkish version, pop up every few months. It was discussed on this thread not too far back. Earlier this year on the 3-D Importing/Delivery thread:
https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=302394

And of course, on the official thread for the movie:

Hi emoto

Please let me know if the Turkish release of illusionauts is now free of technical glitches. Thanks so much.
