I read an Amir post that stated MP3 was better than Apple's lossless encode. He had 14 M$ employees and his kid sister corroborate his findings. It must be true. We should all buy Zune.

Not really.

Yay for Apple ! Thinking of replacing my 4gb nano with the new nano..... Time will tell though as most of my money goes to BD discs!

Zune is garbage, Microsoft doesn't innovate they just copy...... For the record though Vista isn't anything like OS 10.4 Tiger, lol !

I knew Apple would eventually come out with an iPod solely based on the iPhone's unique functions (touchscreen, the 90 degree flip thing, the "keyboard" to VERY quickly find artists and songs).
But a 16 gig just isn't enough for me.
I have a Generation 3 iPod (60 gig) nearly half full with 3700+ songs on it.
I'd like to upgrade my iPod someday........either to an iPod Touch (it has to be at least 60 gig for me) or the iPod classic (minimum 80 gig).
I will say the iPod classic is pretty sweet, though!

I messed with a Zune for like 12 seconds. I wanted to cut out my eyes, and burn my face. It was a clunky lame Ipod rip-off.

I just picked up the new nano, its pretty sweet. I am pissed at apple though, I just bought an iPhone 3 weeks ago and they drop the price $200. I knew there would be a price cut eventually, but after 2&1/2 months.

Since you got it 3 weeks ago can't you return it then rebuy it for the discount?

If not Steve Jobs just announced a $100 rebate for EVERYONE that bought an ipod prior to the price drop.
