Hi Elsinore

From czechmovie it is first lsted as Goat Story with Cheese 2 / Kozi pribeh se syrem.

But then it has at least two alternate titles according to the same website

Also Known As
(original title) - Kozí příběh se sýrem
Germany (DVD title) - Schlau wie eine Ziege
USA - Goat Story with Cheese
World-wide (English title) (short title) - Goat Story 2

And probably more.

So we're all correct!

Watched Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings last night. Really good fun and enjoyable, despite having subtitles when not really necessary.

I finally got around to watching Spiderman Homecoming in 3D. The 3d looked great IMO.

As for the movie.... Its ok but not something i will want to watch again.

It tried to do scenes similar to Tobys first spidey movie but the emotional weight was not there. Spidey trying to hold the Ferry together did not have the impact that spidey hoding the train back had. (i know the train was from spidey 2)

Also I really enjoyed Keaton as Vulture. The vulture was a favourite spidey villain of mine especially the Funeral arrangements storyline.

Anyway, a very flawed movie which is still enjoyable . I liked that the humour was fitting and not overly stupid.

I started to watch Spiderman Far from Home a couple days later. Again the 3D was nice, but the movie itself was terrible. I shut it off half way in our of boredom. The first time I saw this was in a drive in.

The humour was goofier this time around , with the teacher who accompanies the kids just makes really cringey comments that i guess were meant to be funny. And his co worker guy is just as lame. Ned wasnt nearly as fun , the jokes didnt hit (for me) and I dont like that you cant watch this right after homecoming and be up to date. You HAVE to watch infinity war and End game to know where the characters are at here.

The end of homecoming left off with aunt may finding out peter is spiderman , then in this one you dont see her having to cope with it as shes already done all that. Its a bit jarring going from the first movie to this one.

Ill try to finish this movie becuase I want to finally get around to watching No Way Home which I have not seen yet.

Sony wanted to do an homage to Spider-Man 2 with that scene.

Why do you think it is flawed?

Aren't you being a little to harsh on your thinking? These are comic book movies, they aren't supposed to be Masterpiece movies.

As Spider-Man here is a kid maybe they were targeting their writting lines to a much more younger audience. And yes, this movie happens after all of the snap and the blip as this is the last phase 3 movie.

I last watched Black Panther. The daytime shots are nice. Especially when it opens to the IMAX ratio such as in the ritual combat scenes.

I also saw Dawn of the Dead in 3D earlier this month at the movie theater. It was my first viewing of the film in any format. Was awesome.

Last purchase was G.I.: Joe Retaliation, which came in the mail over the weekend.

My vote for the finest Marvel movie since The Punisher (1989), plays just like a classic Hong Kong action fantasy, with three of the genre’s superstars. Doctor Strange and Ant-Man are right behind it.

I'd love to see a Shang-Chi edit that removes the Katy character entirely. I liked the movie but found her character to be insufferable.

I can see how she could be seen as annoying but I quite like her in the role. Although her magically finding her inner talent/strength/gift made me metaphorically role my eyes. But I do think they missed a great opportunity to make Shang-chi's sister a key part of the emotional heart of the movie. Instead she's just another one dimensional MCU girl boss that few will remember.

But overall it's a fun movie with decent 3D.

It made me literally roll my eyes! I've seen the actress in a few things now and I don't need to see her in anything else!

I theorize Katy was there in order to convey a message about Shang Chi in a way that might be approved by China. Unfortunately for Disney, the movie didn't play there, and I hear it's in large part due to the character of Shang Chi's sister.

I expected to dislike Katy, surprisingly I didn't find her to be terrible. At least they foreshadowed her ability to drive a car, and they didn't establish that she was some "god-tier" race driver either. Making her a master archeress overnight was

Both Katy and the sister interrupted the martial arts action and that's a cardinal crime. I'd write them both out if I could, and have more martial arts scenes, but if I could only write out one it'd be the sister as her whole arc was pointless and she wasted our fight time by losing a fight to Shang Chi, but refusing to tap out so he had to take a dive.

Shang Chi sister was such a downgrade from Jackie Chan's sister in Shanghai Knights.

How? Katy is a stereotypical western young person, lazy, directionless and anti-confomist. That's the very anthesis of what China wants to show their people.

It had little to do with the sister. In a now widely reported old interview, Simon Liu called China a third world country and said that people there were dying of starvation. That would cause a problem anywhere in the (so called) developed world, but in China that's basically pi**ing in their faces.

Since I don't particularly like the person behind the character I expected to dislike her too. But I think she works well enough and was a useful foil to both Shaun and Shang-chi.

I thought the story beat about Shang-chi effectively abandoning her hints at what her arc could have been with a more nuanced exploration of their relationship. Instead it was turned into more eye-rolling "untrustworthy men" and "girl boss/need no man" tropes. I guess they just can't help themselves.

I have not seen very many films in the Hong Kong action fantasy genre, so was not familiar with any of the actors, although I think I have seen the aunt in something else.

Still, I did really enjoy the movie. It was definitely more engaging than I expected.

Just again watched Okie the......., err, I mean Oz The Great and Powerful.

Great 3D. Depth, placement and popouts galore. Excellent picture detail, color saturation and 7.1 master audio.

Very enjoyable and highly recommended.

P.S. Okie, sorry for the "goof" but with your oppo and new projector, in the stereoscopic world you're great and powerful too! .
