I'm all over this. I was disappointed in Clerks II but liked J&SB Reboot and the reviews for this seem similar.

I would also buy Clerks 4K (having owned the VHS, DVD, X DVD, and Bluray) even though it's highly debatable how much more quality we can really get out of it at this point given the 16mm film and famously low budget. Smith himself thought the Blu was pointless, even though it is better then DVD (mostly because of better compression). Don't see how much more you can wring out of it.

Saw this on Monday with Kevin Smith Q&A after. Could be the beers influencing, in a theater usually for concerts with bars, but damn good movie. Crowd was really into it and it kept the elements and references to previous movies going and added a lot of personal stuff from Smith. Recommended.

I swear the steel looked much better in the 3D picture rather than the physical thing. I mean the colours and all.

Also, seems like the case is a literal cardboard case/slip rather than one of those clear things..?

Should be clear if it's Lionsgate...which it is.

I just hope they allow people to order it again soon, I thought I had placed an order but apparently it just sat in my cart and didn't go through.

So does anyone know if this will be released in 4K in standard packaging??

I got a little pissed off when I could only find the 4K releasing as not only a steelbook but a BBY exclusive.

No, it seems so far much like 'The Hurt Locker', 'The Limey', 'The Bob's Burgers Movie', 'RAN' (at least in the US), and several others that this will be released in steelbook only for a limited time.
