Good point. Although Kylo Ren of Star Wars also from Disney, was "redeemed" and he was just as evil in how many lives he destroyed for greed, arrogance and power.

That’s Disney though who have no say in what James Cameron does. I just don’t see that happening with his sensibilities.

[Show spoiler]Lang said he'll be the main bad guy throughout the series, but who knows what could happen at the end. The main challenge being he can just keep jumping from Na'vi clone to clone endlessly. So unless Jake and the Na'vi figure out how to stop the Avatar clone

machines, this ruthless villain will not stop it seems. Like Cameron wants him to represent the main villain for the full series. I don't see anyone else in the wings to take over, other than

[Show spoiler] maybe the son or some new villain, but I don't think the kid has it in him to be that evil.
