It seems the majority of people posting here are glad about these reprints. Personally, it’s jaded me, and I’m reluctant to make steelbook purchases now. Sony was pretty consistent for a Long time of not doing reprints, which made collecting all that much more rewarding. You get a copy, it’s no longer available, therefore it’s actually collectible. Reprints where they change the artwork are fine…but identical reprints is BS.

Are you buying it because you like it and want it or are you buying it because you need to have something that not everyone else can get?

I didn’t buy the Hobbit and LotR trilogy SteelBook sets so I could say I have something that others don’t. I bought them because I love the movies and thought the covers were awesome. If they make more? That’s awesome, more people can get these cool sets.
