I don’t think the 3DFA as ever asked for such high funding, and their efforts involve scanning, cleaning and alignment. This one at best involves re-rendering both eyes of the 3D edition, and since it comes with a 2D only disc, I would say that is probably the original disc just re-pressed again. So add to that authoring for the 3D disc, and then maybe(not confirmed) having the disc professionally pressed. 75k is allot of money for that. This is after all a 22 minute short movie.
I think this had better chance if they had supported the manufacturing costs and made the 2000 editions they are asking for funding and have a limited run. Then I can see this selling out based on word of mouth.
But as it stands, I doubt this will get funded. This feels like someone devided to get a pay they at 3D’s expense.
Looking at Halloween Jack and Crime Squad as good examples of reasonable campaigns that offered lots of perks and were made on a budget.
75000 dollars to have 2000 blu-ray produced? Get out of here.

Yeah, they're reaching for the moon, it'll never get funded with what they're asking for (which explains why most of their other campaigns are unsuccessful). They're doing nothing with the campaign either, no updates since launching. Nobody likes creators that think they can just put something out there and not do anything else to show why it's worth backing.
Look at the Crime Squad campaign for comparison, Murchie has posted an update pretty much every day and even gave a shout out to the Cat Shit campaign. It's actually kind of sad Cat Shit has more backers than Crime Squad but in the end those 3D bunnies likely won't succeed in getting any money while Crime Squad has already hit their goal.
