The MyTouch is the G1 in a much better package. Maybe in a few years that will change, but I found that the G1 is not a worthy substitute for the iPhone, and not anywhere close to the iPhone killer it was positioned as. The Cupcake update was pretty lackluster for me. The touch screen keyboard, which was my most awaited feature, pretty much sucks. It's the same on the MyTouch.

The G1 is nothing like the iPhone, which is why I sold it! The difference is night and day!
