Honestly, it won't make any audible difference. If it's easy and feasible to do so then I'd go for brand uniformity just for the sake of aesthetics, but something like a Klipsch surround set paired with Wharfedale or Pioneer floorstanders will still sound just as good as the entire setup being one brand.
