Too bad the original cast wouldn't have been old enought to have older teenage kids for a That 80's Show instead of a That 90's Show. I think the 80's has a greater identity than the 90's.

Having been in middle and high school in the 80's and college and early marriage in the 90's, there isn't a lot about the 90's that stands out except maybe grunge and a few movies. The 80's had more defined fashion and music. You were still in the Cold War. While you DARE still existed in the 90's (with Leia wearing a shirt in the early episodes), it's heyday was the 80's with Reagan's war on drugs.

Fox already tried That '80s Show. It was awful, and was mercifully cancelled after a few episodes.

Found a few video clips of That 80's Show online. Looks horrible. Moving it to San Diego with no returning cast was a horrible decision.
