There's always going to be more questions than answers with Lost. I personally didn't really enjoy season 2 but all the future seasons are great. I can't wait until the final season starts. Although I love Lost I also like a show that doesn't drag on and has had a long-term plan for ending the series.

I just started to watch Season 5 and my oh my is it good.

I hated Season 1... it is a lot of character development and boring but if you can get through that... then it really picks up in Season 2. SEASON 5 so far has been awesome every 5 minutes there is another twist or something you don't expect.

I will decide how great a series this is once it is all finished.

Really??? Most people love season one, but get frustrated during season two. I loved all the flashbacks. We find out so many secrets about the castaways past through them.

as a huge fan of LOST i've noticed that its a show for die hard fans, people who will watch every episode, and have a clear enough memory to notice all the subtle season 1 throwbacks as far in as season 5, its a smart show, well written, and can get the toughest of the tough bawling by the end of an ep. greates show ever made and will be talked about 50 years from now
btw, just did a season 1 rewatch in a day

Wow! I am surprised at your comments. It took me about 5 months to get through season 1 the first time. I just didn't get into it at all. Once season 2 started I was hooked though. I think all the big things happened in Season 2. I loved season 4 too but I am hoping 5 tops it(so far so good but only 2 episodes in).

Seasons 1 and 2 are the best. 3, 4, and 5 are good. I hope season 6 can top them all.

I personally would rank the seasons:
1. 1
2. 4
3. 3
4. 5
5. 2

I was absolutely hooked throughout the first season but actually quit watching halfway through season 2. Once season 3 came out on Blu I caught up on the show by watching season 2 on DVD and season 3 on Blu.

I have been thinking about netflixing them..... because I've never seen them, and so many people rave about it.... but the promo's for them on t.v. make them look like something I'm certainly not into......

I love The Twilight Zone, and even watched MANY of the X-Files when they were originally aired..... same with the Outer Limits (which when I watch now, I find them pretty silly)

I'm not sure Lost is something I could get into..... I never sat through an episode of 24 yet either..... really seems like they shot it pretty high-budget, but doesn't really appeal to me.

I'd like to check out True-Blood and Mad Men too.... never even seen a promo for those.... but the concept sounds good. I'm a Soprano's junkie... so the latter may be up my alley.

I went way off on a tangent here.... sorry!

But that's exactly what Lost is...they always had a long-term plan for ending the series, and as of Season 3 or so, they had a firm end date, as well.

Yeah, that's what I was saying. What I meant was I love the show and don't want it to end but am glad it won't drag on and has had a long-term plan. I didn't word my statement very well.
