I don't recall ever seeing an article that addressed that. The only company that went on record as to when they would make a profit from their streaming service was Disney at their Disney+ Day 2020. If you would like I can post the charts they presented.

On the other hand there are numerous articles about the health of the BO. You can easily find them in a search.

I admit I'm not a fan of streaming but I do not wish for it to go away.
I think everything should complement each other.
Cinema, disc, digital, streaming. No more of the exclusivity BS.
