This is probably my favorite Western and one of the highest replay value of any movie in my collection.

Does anyone know about this korean 4K steelbook release? I came across a few on ebay that were going for less than the original zavvi blu-ray steelbook. Art maybe not as cool but if you just need the 4k disc and a steelbook not bad.. It releases in July according to

I'm familiar with Eastwood and his westerns from my dad when I was a kid. Not too intimate. For some reason, the upcoming 4k of High Plains Drifter sparked me a little interest in the man and his westerns. That's at least one that I know I like, along with Pale Rider. Decided to give this a view after seeing it (as well as Josey Wales and the first two 'Dollar' films) on streaming. There's a lot of time where I just don't fall in love with a movie after one viewing...but there is something that makes me want to go back again because I know I can come to love it with some more understanding. This is one of those. Will be going back to see it again in the coming days, hopefully. May even just buy the 4K so I can really get the full experience.

Has anyone recently purchased this and did it still come with a digital copy? Not sure if mine was just missing the code or if they stopped putting them in there.

WB stops putting codes in discs.

And yet the package still says 'digital copy.' Isn't that kinda dishonest? I've ordered three new WB releases recently and no digital copies were included. Contacted Warner Home Video 3 times... no response.

You should sue them. False advertising. Let them know you buy the physical copy for the digital copy exclusively. They also ignored your inquiries, which makes them look even more suspect. Show them big guys they can't push the little guy around and get-away with it. Probably wouldn't even need a lawyer. Just buy a few new copies of various movies that have this problem and open them in front of the court. Take it to the supreme court if you have to. Be the hero we all need in this world.

Most of the packaging I've seen has some fine print that digital copies may only be available if they are redeemed by X Date. I'm sure some lawyer already thought of this angle before packing was printed up.

If the packaging does mention that it has a digital code (not the website pic or description), then contact WB for a replacement. As long as the packaging doesn't have the expiration date of the code on it, I would hope they give a replacement code.

The reason why I mention the packaging actually saying it has a digital code is that WB years ago changed the packaging to only have the slip say it had the DC, so that they could later remove the DC.
