Movies set mainly underwater suck and, generally speaking, underwater sequences are death for a movie. With exceptions. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Time for a 20 minute Thunderball nap.

That's one of the reasons I prefer Leviathan over The Abyss. Leviathan keeps that stuff to a minimum.

A significant portion of the movie is underwater.

Thunderball is booooooring, and it has a lot to do with the underwater stuff.

I've never understood the love it gets from the Bond faithful.

Separate opinion:

Gentleman's Agreement is an outright bad movie.

THUNDERBALL is one of my favorite Bond films. It's in my top 5, actually.

There's no such thing as a bad (or boring) Bond film.

I felt this way until Die Another Day. The James Bond Collection (1962-2015) BD set is perfect for me since it stops at SPECTRE. The ending of SPECTRE works brilliantly for the end of the Craig run.

Rocky IV is a giant pile of dung. I can't believe that's an unpopular opinion, but it has a massive following. It's awful. It isn't Rocky Balboa in the movie; it's Sylvester Stallone. III is mighty cheesy, but it's a masterpiece compared to this vanity project. No, I haven't seen the director's cut of Rocky IV. And I ain't gonna.

Conversely, Rocky V isn't nearly as bad as many make it out to be.

IV isn't really good but it has it's moments. V is an absolute disaster.

For me, the only good thing about Rocky IV is it led to the awesome "Weird Al" parody Living With A Hernia.

Rocky V portrayed Rocky Balboa as he was in the first two films. It isn't great, but I'll watch it over III and IV any day.
