For what it’s worth, this one was originally going to be called “Scream !!”(II) before it was Scream VI

I think Scream 4 did so bad was because Scream 3 is still considered the worst of the franchise so word of mouth for the Scream franchise was not good at that time. Glad they didnt call this Scream !! That would be beyond stupid. Scream 6 is the best title they could give it good they stuck with that one.

Scream 4 did bad because 90s nostalgia hasn't kicked in yet in 2011.
