The movies will stay pretty consistent in price. The studios have no reason to take a loss like Toshiba that makes some of it up in licensing fees, and movie royalties. People who buy Vizio hdtvs aren't concerned with best possible picture, nor are they willing to spend the money for hi-def movies.

The common consumer doesn't care if what they're seeing is Full 1080p. Heck, most of the TV's BB and CC are selling are only 720p.
I think they would benefit a lot from putting out a sub $300 player for the holidays. Maybe package one with Spidey 3?! |
