The first two episodes (the "preview") are on Hulu.

Seen the first three episodes they were not great. If they were trying to be really awkward, then they succeeded it.
The reason I gave this a chance was because I heard this was going to be the next The Office, but it's nothing like it. I give up. Trashy unfunny show. |

The Office had dry and awkward humor, but it was actually funny. This is just awkward. The fact they compared and said this was the next generation of The Office was an insult to The Office. |

I saw the first episode and called the problem with the car before it happened. Because Better Off Ted did a better version of the joke where the building sensors couldn’t see certain colors leaving some employees literally in the dark.

I didn't absolutely hate it... but it was definitely more awkward than funny. I'm going to keep with it, but I'm not sure it has staying power.

The first two episodes weren't great, but they made me chuckle a few times. Happy to give it a few more goes.
Superstore took a while to get going, & let's not forget the first season of The Office was absolutely dire. I imagine this'll be a lot closer to the former than the latter, if it's given a chance & doesn't get cancelled. Anyone expecting this to be the next Office has been woefully misled. Fellow new sitcom Abbott Elementary clearly thinks it is (having stolen the format wholesale), but that one forgot to put any remotely likeable characters in its cast or jokes in its script. |

I LOVED the first season of The Office. It was basically the first season of the British version. Now, Parks and Recreation??? That first season was horrendous and I ALMOST gave up on it. |

I mean it might have been advertised as the next Office, but everything is marketed as the next [big success story here]. I've enjoyed the first few episodes, but I also really like cars and everything related to "business" so it fits in nicely with my interests. And I never expected it to even attempt to be emulating The Office.
Nothing will be for everyone though and there're more than a couple shows I've liked that got canceled. Sitcoms and TV generally can take a while before settling in. |

This show has really grown on me. It loves to poke fun at today's sensitivities. Katherine will say something then be cautioned about who she'll insult. Then say the opposite and be told she just insulted or offended the other group. Last week was the abortion issue. No matter what her position she was offending employees. She ultimately pointed out their hypocrisies and got them off her back.

It's gotten better, but I still don't think it's great.

Ana Gasteyer is great in this, as are Michael Benjamin Washington and Jon Barinholtz. They do the best with what they're given, and it's at its best when it is a bit mean. Would love to see more visual humor and a bit better writing, but I'm sticking with it.
