One of mine had two dings in front, Others appeared alright(knock on wood) Its a glossy black and shows marks real easy

Since Amazon is OOS , heres another vendor if needed. Note I found them very shady as they took my money and never shipped nor answered emails. Dont know if its a language barrier or what but US buyers beware.

You can get the SteelBook either at Amazon.fr or Fnac.com (Fnac's version comes with an extra booklet).
And any French BD retailer.

How is his comment not being courteous? I've also seen all kinds of posts from people from here and abroad that were clearly not courteous in the slightest, yet you say nothing. Jus' saying.

Now, as far as which one to get. I'm torn between the two different versions. I like both but for different reasons. I think the lack of the blue banner on the German version might win me over, even though the French version has nicer artwork inside. If someone flips the German one so that the cover without the logo is in the front, is the disc holder now on the left of the case? That would mean the inside would be upside and hard to read. I guess this wouldn't matter to me much since I can't read German anyway. But then again, the French writing on the back is of little use to me also. Now I wish they would have just used the same freakin' case.

Like I said, I don't think there's a PAL concern as the cover says the bonus features to be in 1080i.

all the talk has been about the fnac version. can anyone confirm the amazon.fr version is region free? I have the German one on the and this will decide which one I will open and which one i leave sealed

Based upon the forum discussions in the last 24 hours, I think that is the big question of the day.

I myself am not sure yet as to me it ranks right up there with the Canada vs. US Bond Steelbook debate. How different does it have to be to be different?

the booklet would have been nice but never ordered from fnac before how are they for packaging and shipping cost?
