Season 3 was practically the same episode five or six times in a row. The series seems to be running on fumes already. I think they’re getting a bit too pleased with themselves and trying to get engagement on socials more than tell a complex story. The show won’t survive unless they settle down and do the work instead of rely on Twitter to cheerlead every week.

401 was hysterical. Hard to think of a funnier show on tv.

The previews really led us to believe this was going to be a fun wedding episode and then….that happened. Wow.

Wowsers! That was some ep. My wife didn’t believe any of it for a second, but the doubt was 100% deliberate and hilarious.

I generally watch on Monday... so I loved all the headlines about

[Show spoiler]Successions shocking death (Spoilers)

And then Deadline doing an interview with Brian Cox, which luckily i didnt see til after i saw the episode.

The first headline and a few just like it i did see.

I thought it was going to be Justine Lupe (connors fiance)because she never seemed to love him and her dying could help his 1% presidential bid.

Then when Culkin had to tell Jeri that she was being fired, i thought it was gonna be her, maybe a suicide.

And then the call came and i said "oh shit... theyre taking out the big dog!

But it would have been nice to not expect a death.

And the episode rang so true. The writing, directing and especially acting was pitch perfect. Coming from someone who has been through a death like that (obviously not of that level of wealth or importance) but the humanity of the characters shined through more than it ever has on the show before (by design) especially Tom and Culkin

One of the best episodes of TV ever. I think.

Wow! That was a really brave way to
[Show spoiler]kill off Logan. Any other show, ya'd have seen him looking pale, having difficulty breathing, and wincing in pain for an episode or two. But this way, for those of us who hadn't seen any spoilers, it came as as much of a shock as it did for the characters.

Just started watching this season. Feels great to have this show back. I've heard a lot of buzz around the latest episode, and I can only guess what happens.

He has been great, but I think Kieran Culkin has been the true stand out. He runs the gamut of emotions, from hilarious to heart breaking and nails them all. Who knew Fuller who drank too much Pepsi would turn into one of the greatest TV actors!

Final episode was great, i think! I'm still processing it. I don't want it to end! We need more

[Show spoiler]im not sure how i feel about them selling. I guess it couldnt end precitably, and Tom taking over was certainly unexpected. But damn, i wanted to see the three siblings (Alan Ruck was not part of the business world) come together and form the Succession. But Shiv did what she always did and made her decision and saw a way to stay on top alongside Tom, and not Kendall.

So much to process, and i dont know how i feel, but it was a greay episode of tv from one of the best series ever created

Fantastic finale. I think the shows greatest achievement was getting us to empathize with such awful characters and be invested in their horrendous world. Who else would be so bummed out about making literal billions out of a business deal?

And it’s hilarious that the pathetic sycophantic yes-man from the shows beginnings rose to the “throne”, and not the eldest boy!

I was really rooting for Kendall. I knew it likely wouldn't go in his favor, but despite everything, I was rooting for him.

Shiv is probably the most despicable, selfish, toxic, manipulative character I've ever seen in a show. Words cannot describe how much I hate her.

But what a show, and what a finale.
