I watched this last night. It's been many years since I last saw it, but it still held up reasonably well. The transfer has a little bit of crushed shadow detail in some scenes and some contrast boosting, but overall it's solid and retains grain structure well. Colors seem naturally saturated too. Solid all-in-all for this kind of catalog title.

Did anyone find the dialogue just a tiny bit difficult to hear in some scenes? Almost as if slightly muted or soft.

You're looking around $15 with shipping. About the same price I got with Amazon in a bundle of other movies (with free shipping over $50).

Really enjoyed this movie. Somehow I'd never heard of it, which kind of surprised me as I've always loved 80s comedies. The Vudu stream was pretty solid and it might be from the same source as the blu. I'll have to pick this one up when DD runs another Olive sale.

I watched this last night. Similar A/V impressions still as I posted in 2016, but charming enough movie and glad it looks as good as it does being an older transfer. I've got a different audio set-up now too, but still found bits of the dialogue a little hard to hear at times.

Don't know if it's just 80s nostalgia, but I've always had a huge soft spot for this one. Easily one of my top 5 80s teen flicks.

Yeah, it's easy to have a huge soft spot for this movie. It's the feature film debut for John Cusack, Virginia Madsen, Andrew McCarthy, and Casey Siemaszko. It's also the 2nd film for Rob Lowe (just after the Outsiders) and one of the first for Alan Ruck.

Crazy so many big names debuted in this one!
