Either this release or the Code Red one has messed up the colour grading big time from about 1:01:26.
On the code red release it looks like late daytime, but you can still see everything really clearly. Same with the version you can watch on YouTube. But on this new Treasured Films release its very dark. Much darker than both the Code Red and YouTube versions. And in the at 1:03:00 when the 3 soldiers are hiding out on the boat its extremely dark. Compare that to the code red screenshots on this website. Screenshots 16 and 17 down. I suspect this new release is correct as it seems like this scene takes place at dusk. But I do feel this new release is just a touch too dark throughout the whole film. |
