I haven't watched the other 2 natively made Asylum movies yet but they're on my list. Hope they're done better than this one!
Approaching this material from a non- technical, purely layman's perspective I found some shots to be decent looking 3D, albeit these were few & far between, maybe 5% of the film.
The woman the protagonist day dreams about is attractive, as is his sister toward the end, and there are a few (low brow) laughs, though mostly it's really dumb humor.
The perpetual Hollywood trope of a reluctant protagonist with a trouble maker best buddy who gets him into scrapes has certainly been done before, and much better obviously, but is perhaps universally relatable.
I didn't spend much on it thank goodness! For what it is (a low budget raunchy stoner comedy shot in faulty stereo) i don't regret the purchase.
