The new Dogville restoration has a warm blanket tint applied to the entire film that I don't find entirely convincing. All the white (even in the title cards) is now closer to yellow/orange. The 4K resto plays in 25fps also, not sure what the native frame rate is but it was shot on HD digital cameras.

I've attached a few comparison shots of the 4K resto vs an older 1080 copy I assume is from the original DI.

[Show spoiler]

The warm finish seems to run counter to the sparse theatrical aesthetic but I seem to remember that it's closer to how it looked at the cinema. I'm happy with my English friendly 1080 for now but I might upgrade.
