Same. In pharmacy.

Ran around all day doing stuff, guess I lost a few calories. To rectify that I came home and hoisted a quick beer! Best damn excercise in the world. You have no idea how many reps I can do!

I just got back from playing basketball, and I'm going to be a couch potato by eating and watch some Full Metal Jacket.

I don't know, I guess it was because I was couch potato that I got kidney problems. In my bedroom, before I moved out of my parents house for college, I had a nice sized room. The TV was angled but it was at the foot of my bed. I had a couch and I had my computer next to the couch. So I would be at the couch all the time, screen writing or watching movies. Plus eating popcorn or hamburgers like crazy. I was at 150 pounds and I dropped to a scary 118. Kidney stones and close to death with kidney failure, doctors rushed to save me with tons of injections. I looked like a crackhead with all the needle marks in my right arm.

I'm just a lazy ****. I sit at my desk all day, I go for minor walks, but then I generally go home or go out and wind up sitting somewhere. If I had easier access to a pool I'd be in better shape (I love swimming but never do it).

I agree. Swimming is fun, and doesn't feel like exercise.

I sit all day at work, and I usually get up and walk around to strecth my legs...that's my slacking off time.

I also walk to my printer, or fax machine real fast too so I can burn off those potato chips I was eating for lunch.

You know what I love doing with potato chips; I get a bowl of vinegar and salt and dip them and make my own Salt & Vinegar potato chips. It's freakin' sweet, well, sour.

The hell it don't! I joined the YMCA a few months back. They have one of those lap pools where it's roped off into several lanes and you just swim back and forth. Well I had not swam in years. I get in and I figured I'd start light, you know, 10-15 minutes. Well 5 minutes into it I thought I was going to absolutely die!! I gutted it out for the full 15 minutes, having to stop and catch my breath several times in between. By the time I dried off, changed, and headed back to my car my whole body ached! I swear it was all I could do just to get back to my car!

The thing about swimming is that you are working your body harder than you realize when you're actually in the pool. Once you get out the after effects are rough!
