I hate AT&T but love my iPhone.

Everyday consistently around the lunch hour I can get no data for my phone in downtown Cinci. Many dropped calls and failure to connect. The dropped call issue has even happened when I used to have a basic no frills phone with AT&T. Their network constantly gets oversaturated in my downtown. Now my work issued Verizon phone has never had an issue. There have been places I have been where there is no signal for AT&T here in Cinci, DC etc. etc. but my verizon work phone runs fine. I am waiting for my contract to run out and the Verizon iPhone to come out.

We had AT&T as our long distance carrier (before cell phones) for about 14 yrs.
One day my calling card didn't work anymore, so my wife called them about it. She knew if I called them, I'd end up cussing them out. After 14 yrs. as a regular, good customer, they had no record that we were ever a customer. They asked my wife if she wanted them to sign us up and send us another card? She said no.........if you're that incompetent, we want nothing else to do with you.

A couple of days later, they started calling us, wanting us to come back. I asked them how can we come back, if we were never a customer? I told them to quit calling us, because they couldn't say or do anything that would make us do business with them again. Of course, they didn't quit. Everytime they called, I told them to quit calling. Finally, one day they caught me in the right mood, and I cussed the guy out big time. I called him everything except a lawyer. I went through the whole story again with him, and told him I kept telling them to quit calling, but they wouldn't. I told him if they called one more time, I would file a complain of harrassment with the state attorney general's office. If they didn't believe me, they could try me! Three or four days later, I got a letter from them saying our name and number had been removed from their list, at our request, and they haven't called since! We will have nothing to do with AT&T...........

I also had to use the same warning (filing harrassment charges with attorney general's office), to get Peppertree Resorts (a time share place) to stop calling us. So, if someone won't stop calling and bugging you, use the same warning with them, and they'll stop.

If I had been asked what operator I used in 2010, I would have said that I didn't have a phone yet.

I think that today, the best option would be to buy VoIP numbers. They are conveniently cheap, and they also have a lot of features, so conventional numbers are a thing of the past. For example, I am constantly on the road and want to keep constant contact with my relatives. Constantly buying new numbers in countries where I visit is not very convenient and expensive, so these VoIP numbers are the best option for me.

I hate the phone dudes who heckle you at Sam’s club trying to get you to switch to AT&T. Verizon is the only carrier that works in my house and I’ve been with them since 2008. A friend of mine would stop by often because it’s a dead zone for AT&T and his wife couldn’t get ahold of him lol.

Doesn’t Ryan Reynolds own Mint? I think Metro uses T Mobile towers.
