hmm then how come when i watch hbo max it came up hdr but in new max app watch something 4k hdr icon will not show up near the right top of tv anymore but its doing 4k hdr? |

Again, you’re not going to see the HDR or Dolby Vision indicator because your video settings on the Apple TV are probably set at 4K SDR with Match Content and Frame Rate. Having your Apple TV set like that will let the Apple TV do the work in terms of making everything match correctly when playing content. But any app, like the new Max app or Peacock, that uses their OWN proprietary video player…you have to switch the Apple TV video settings to 4K with either Dolby Vision or HDR10 on AT ALL TIMES to make sure the content is playing in 4K. It’s an annoyance. |

ok so do you think because like i can watch disney plus and its show hdr well hdr 10 that maybe there are some bugs and despite description and perhaps afterwhile when they finished doing update it might show hdr again top of my 4k tv or do you think will still not going to show it

Yeah. It is also on the home page. But that is only 30 movies. We want the full list, like HBO had it.

I logged into Max through my cable provider which worked. But I get to a welcome page that says. Max Welcome *my name* Your profiles,history,and My List have a new home. second page It's all here! Hit movies,fresh originals and family favorites. Then there is a Start Streaming button. When I hit it though,nothing happens. It just lights up when I click on it. I've tried on both of my computers and two different browsers(Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge). I don't even get your,"an error occurred" I just get nothing when I click on it. I figured there could be some bugs because the service is only a couple hours old. The chat function works.I was just on the phone with Max's customer service. I mentioned your problem too and wondered if there could just be some early bugs in certain cases like this. They said I would receive an email from higher up on their team soon to resolve my problem. So hopefully it will work later today. In some ways, I feel better that someone else is having this sort of problem. It means other people are having issues and this may get fixed faster. ETA Okay,the button now works and I'm in. BUT! I'm getting Something Has Gone Wrong,Please try again later on certain things. Some things will play but some things I get the above message. Or when i click on a tab,I get it.. I'm assuming more bugs. ETA 2 Now everything is getting the Something Has Gone Wrong,Please try again later when I try to watch something or click a tab It basiclly worked for a few minutes. I'm looking on Max's twitter and in some of the threads others are reporting as having some of these same problems. I went to my laptop,it worked on both Microsoft Edge and Google Google Chrome.I went to my desktop which only uses Chrome.It worked for a bit then I started getting the error message when trying to watch something or click a tab. Went back to laptop again, worked on both browsers again for the minute or tow I tried.Went back to desktop again ,got the error message again trying to watch/click tabs.
