Awesome. Hopefully that sweet outer angle-cut slip box will come with the limited 4-disc 4k box set. Glad I preordered this with the quickness back when it rolled out. I’ll take a random win when vs throws us a bone.

I pre-ordered the 4k UHD and noticed that it says " Newly scanned and restored in 4k from its 35mm original camera negative". I thought this was shot in 16mm?

According to IMDB you are correct.

It looks like a typo on Vinegar Syndrome's site. The back of the 4k cover clearly states 16mm.

I’m torn about the proposed Toronto location as it likely means we’ll have to start paying taxes on our VS purchases (still not sure why we aren’t charged taxes by VS with shipping originating in Canada, but won’t complain).

Are BRs region free? If they are, have buyer for those and just keep UHDs and book+box myself. If A locked then no sale. Waiting for items to ship is no issue as FedEx delivers to foreign territories quickly.

the blu rays are most likely locked as part of the licensing agreement. i believe 88 films as european rights.

You are probably right. When they finally added full details to store product it said region free but it was maybe meant for UHD. With book and giallo document in VS release, 88 should do miracles to beat it...
