Red is also great, although McKee left before it was finished. Like The Woman, it's another adaptation of a Jack Ketchum novel, only Red is not a horror film, but a drama with a great performance from Brian Cox. It's available on Blu-ray in Italy. The Woods is more lighthearted, but also fun, with another good lead performance, this time from Agnes Bruckner, and also featuring Bruce Campbell. There are a few Blu-ray releases, including one from Germany that I don't see listed on this site. For what it's worth, I didn't care for The Woman when it came out, although I'm sure I'll revisit it at some point. Jeremy Sisto is pretty good as well, and there's also James Duval (the bunny suit guy from Donnie Darko) in a small role. |
