I got Monsters Inc. today with A Bug's Life. I haven't opened them yet, though. I'll do it later at home, but being from Pixar I am sure they both looks and sounds fabulous.

Mi única preocupacion era que Monsters Inc. no incluyera subtitulos en español pero todo parece indicar que sí los trae, la contraportada así lo dice por lo menos, aunque ya sabemos que no siempre la info de las contraportadas ha sido correcta en el pasado (Cars, Hellboy, etc.). Al rato lo confirmaré.

Actualización: EL BD SÍ contiene audio y subs en español, aunque la contraportada sigue teniendo un par de errores menores.
La pista en inglés es DTS-HD Master Audio 48Khz/24-bit mientras que en la contraportada dice 48Khz/16-bits (sic)
Además no se menciona que la pista en español es Dolby Digital EX (ideal para los que tienen un sistema 6.1 o 7.1)

Por cierto la mayor parte del material extra en el 2do disco esta presentado en definicion standard.
El tercer disco no es sino el DVD region 4 de la pelicula (Fullscreen). Me alegra que lo hayan incluido no solo porque lo puedes regalar o reproducir en cualquier reproductor de DVD sino que ademas puedes comparar ambos formatos y ver las notables diferencias que existen.

Maybe it plays in both regions? Anyone try the DVD disc to see if it plays in their region 1 player

I'm sure the tech specs will be identical. The only difference might be extra subtitle options for the supplements.

I just checked and the DVD is both region 1 and 4 NTSC. It includes audio tracks in English, Spanish and Portuguese DD 5.1. Subtitles in the same languages are provided.

BTW If I am not wrong, the US release won't include a DVD of the movie as the 3rd disc but a Digital Copy.
I prefer the DVD over a DC as a bonus disc. Surely other people prefers the digital copy, though.

As the slip cover saids the dvd it's playable on region 1 as could play it on my mac with region 1

Yea as far as geography standpoint but they included them in a different region for whatever reason. I guess the region coders didnt pass geography. Good thing the Blu-ray regions are better designed, I guess they learned from their mistakes
