Try the internet. Tons of information about how things work. At least dont come here and outright lie about things. Geesh. LOL.

Or, better yet, buy a few 4K discs and let me know how that compares to BS-ware.

The internet contains a wealth of information, people should actually read up on how things work.

That's not the issue

The issue is the actual video content is DRM'd and NOT on the blockchain. You will own a link to a video on a server. If at any point WB decides "hey this isn't making us money anymore" - because after June 2023 the reality is it won't make them any money - and shuts down that server then you permanently own a broken link.

It is the issue, because I all did was reference what a blockchain is. I did not say anything about Warner's NFTS.

Which would constitute breach of contract, probably, unless there's some kind of disclaimer in the small print. But even in that case, it would probably result in a class action lawsuit and lots of negative publicity for them

So using the power of the internet Warner does not maintain the NFT's. Palm Studios does. Palm Studios allows you to use Moralis.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know that Moralis is the leading enterprise-grade Web3 API provider. This means devs can build decentralized applications without reinventing the wheel. After all, in many cases, most Web3 functionalities can be added by simply copy-pasting short snippets of code from the Moralis docs.

Moralis is also all about cross-chain interoperability. As such, it supports all leading EVM-compatible blockchains, including the Palm network. This means you can use Moralis’ APIs to create dapps (decentralized applications) that focus on Palm and any of the supported chains, as seen in the following image:

Also the NFT's can be stored on a private server. And uploaded to decentralized servers, to pretty much put them back into circulation.

If they are broke, spiraling into the abyss & you cant access your content, I doubt a lawsuit is going to get you anything. Like, right? Negative press will already have been well established.

They can do what they want, it's in the T&Cs. I'd imagine Willow was probably labelled as a D+ Exclusive until it wasn't.

Nobody bought Willow NFTs.

Plus there's a long record of streamers being able to drop content - sometimes even without notice.

There's no way Disney would get sued for dropping shows.

Not sure any of the streaming services would be okay with you storing the product on your own server. You can store NFT's on your own server. You own the server and the images, video or whatever is on it.

Just like you could in some cases make legal roms of games to store.

My point was that there would have been fans that subscribed to D+ for exclusive content and now it's gone. There's some legitimacy to their annoyance, even if it was covered in the T&Cs.

You tried arguing that NFTs are somehow(like Palpatine returning ) legit for those that want to truly own content. That was what we were discussing and it is clear that NFTs are NOT like having physical media.

No, thanks for playing though. I know reading the headline and thinking you got it is easy. Yet you are wasting your time discuss with me, if you did not read and understand what I typed.

Good luck to you.

Nobody's forcing you to buy anything - just keep buying discs or whatever makes you happy.

It's all about finding what makes you happy

I feel like Otis trying to unlock the secrets of the Universe from a chewing gum wrapper.

If I had a nickel for everything in this thread that sounds like gobbledygook to me...I'd have a lot of nickels.

If you are working with API's Jitterbit is probably one of the easier apps.
