I mean the whole show has had horror elements, but clearly Demon 79 is going in an entirely different direction as the rest of the series. It’s clearly defining itself as something separate from the rest of the season even if it’s just a move away from tech-based machinations, science fiction speculation and contemporary commentary (even though it still has the latter).
