It's usually a day close to the end of the month (before/after), and often a Monday. The next two Mondays fall close to that end, so it could be either one, though I lean a little more towards July 3rd.

June titles were announced April 3rd (Monday)
July titles were announced May 1st (Monday)
August tiles were announced May 30th (Tuesday)

I ordered killer party off Amazon and it arrived I took of the celefain and some of its stuck on the spine of the case and also the made in Mexico is on the case not celefain to… is this a bootleg I just got? Thanks so much

If it's anything, I saw VS's release of The Beastmaster at my local Target a while ago.

I'm on the fence myself about which label should Charles Band consider sublicensing. On one hand, Arrow did an Empire box set and if they ever did another one, they can have Trancers included (or even do a proper 4K) on the other hand, Shout! has a Kids label which will give said label the oppotunity to release the Moonbeam library. On the other other hand, Vinegar Syndrome doing the Puppet Master films (and maybe in a box set) sounds something up their alley. So many choices here. EDIT: Speaking of, what about MVD?

I forget - has it been Shout that has licensed Miramax titles from Paramount, Kino, or both? I ask because there are two Giuseppe Tornatore films that were distributed by Miramax that I'd love to see get a 4K - Malena and The Star Maker. Hell, I'd be happy with just remastered Blu-rays. The latter never even made it past DVD, which is a crying shame.

The Thief and The Cobbler too, it's a masterpiece of animation and must be given 5-star treatment (with 4K restorations, multiple cuts including Richard Williams' A Moment in Time Cut and extras) whether it's Shout! or Arrow.

No slip, the thread has pics. The website does list that it has one in original pressing, but I think that was just a reasonable assumption that was never corrected. It’s not part of the Collector’s Edition series, so no slipcover sadly.

It feels like I'm beginning to lose my mind just trying to keep track of all this crap.
Then again, it didn't help seeing slipcovers for this release on ebay already. (I assume custom made ones?)

Scratch Factory continues to confuse and frustrate me even more... "sad to say".

Yep it’s really all over the place, I remember hearing their excuse for Shout Selects was that only the ones with new art get slips.
As for the 4Ks like The Haunting, only those marked as “Collectors Edition” get one.

Shout (Cursed, Miramax’s Halloween sequels) however, keep in mind Miramax has been losing the rights of many of the titles the once distributed.

Yeah custom slipcovers is a little cottage industry now, especially for Shout since they don’t really compare to what VS or Arrow might put out. You can find tons of custom WarGames slips that honestly probably wouldn’t be that different from the hypothetical real deal.
