Not really concerned about 'accurate' from Dish Network, as I'm sure their broadcasting, especially from one channel to the next, isn't what anyone would consider 'accurate'. Satellite programming is watched at any time of day, with any number of light sources on at one time in my house. I like the idea of the CATS feature for this...based on what I've read, it's exactly why Panasonic engineers came up with it. Blu-ray, however, is most often watched at night, with all lights off. Given that, and the fact that I (through my equipment) have full control over how 'accurate' the picture is, most display processing features are turned off. This includes CATS. |
