It's from Play.com

I suspect that Play might have a different cover art as they claim their release to be a limited one. And the price is much higher compared to amazon.

In my opinion a release if limited only if it says so. Sure one print might be limited to certain number, but you can always produce more prints if the item sells well. I believe this has happened at least once with the Hancock steelbook.

But if one clearly states that an edition is limited I don't believe one has an option to print more once the edition is sold out.

Amazon.co.uk has "Limited Edition" as well so I don´t understand your logic.

Was hoping for the white cover, don´t like this one as much

My mistake. Yes indeed, Amazon also states theirs as limited edition. I don't understand how I missed that. They could very well be the same release.

Something just doesn't seem to add up. Play releases a different version with art cards and inflates the price by more than 30% (23,99 GBP). I just can't help but feeling there is something fishy about this. Especially when they sell other steelbooks for 17,99 GBP.

Well, at least I hope that the price inflation is due to a totally different limited release with different artwork. But I guess that's pretty far fetched.

I think Play are just trying to cash in on this being a big release by adding a couple of cards and charging a premium.

If you check out the respective listings, both Play and Amazon have the suggested retail price as £27.99.
