I hope it will be possible to buy the box through the website directly and not through retailers.

Yes, it's currently listed on Amazon Canada at $102.57, so I'm hoping to be able to get it a little less expensive somewhere else.

It could get cheaper before release day...

No box is a little disappointing.

Boo! I love the OCN box and hoped Volume 2 would keep that type of packaging. That said, I'll probably still get this release as I really enjoyed the first one. There are so many TV movies that have long been forgotten. It's nice to see some of them get a proper release.

Looking back, during one of VS's past sales, I debated getting the standard release or the box set. I ended up getting the box not knowing FCE would be leaving soon after. Now I kinda wish I went with the standard edition because my OCD would then allow me to get a standard version of Volume 2 without a slipcover! Ah well.

Agreed! Kino Lorber is also honorable in the TV movie genre—although they tend the resurrect the ones that people still remember seeing & would like to see again. FCE (like all of their curation) collects less-remembered TV movies, those most deserving of reevaluation. I deeply appreciate their black-and-white, TV Guide-esque pencil sketches.

How funny! I debated & chose the opposite; looking forward to buying PP2 without a slip to match! I rarely pass on LEs but I’ve also burned out on the case-per-movie thing (looking at you Imprint!) because they take up so much space [especially when the same booklet is included in both editions].

FCE has confirmed on FB that it will just be a slipcover for PP2.

Very disappointing about PP2. Paying almost $15 more and it's not even a box. Last time I pre-order anything from FCE.

A.K.A. the inflated prices are normal and the PP2 is still overpriced. It's not a box set it should be $35 at most.

Remains to be seen if it will be 3 discs or fewer this time around. I did ask them about that but they didn't respond...

I'll buy this but not at the current price. I'll just settle for a standard edition when I can get free shipping from Amazon. I owned every FCE release until they left VS, I haven't bought anything since as the shipping is too much and prices me out

Having a rep/owner who will interact goes a long way, I think. We see it now with Terror Vision. Brad is hustling constantly, chatting with us and making us feel like we are in the know. The hands off, we tell you nothing approach is not the best for this business, imo.

It’s weird because everyone was very respectful too. I know some of their releases really got trashed by the reviewer here so maybe that’s why he left

Jah probably only suffered us on here until they made it big, the $$$ started rolling in and they didn't need to speak to us peasants any more.

No one was disrespectful, so I do find it a kick in the teeth to decent customers that supported Fun City from the start.

If Jah wanted to make us feel like a used, dirty one night stand, he did a bloody good job
