Even on the older, softer master you could see the superior encoding on the Arrow 1080p BD compared to the Criterion 1080p BD:

But you could only go so far with that master. In 4K the difference will be significantly greater. I expect a beatdown similar to the beating the Studio Canal UHD of Mulholland Dr. gave the Criterion UHD:

Probably even bigger, considering Arrow always encode to perfection, unlike Studio Canal.
