Setting everything up was pretty easy so far. Using mostly old stuff including a $5 Sony BDP from second hand store and a new $20 screen from Walmart.

Just picked up Deep blue Sea boxset and Shark Night 3D. Never seen the two DBS sequels, quite enjoyed the first.

I think The Shallows is my favourite of the modern shark films.

I took a friend to Shark Night 3D on opening night and we were the only people there. I imported the 3DBD from Japan.

Pic of pool and screen. This pool is 24 foot above ground pool and was free but needed some repairs. I had to dismantle it and remove it and rebuild it with a new liner and a few other things.

Last one until showtime but ... here's the pool cleaned up a bit and you can see where the projector and it's umbrella will sit. The previous pic inspired me to run the weed eater around the pool to make it look a little better.

I swear, it's going to take all day to get dark though.

When should I invite myself over? I love the shark image on the side of the pool; a very welcoming sign at the entrance to any body of water.

Regardless of who here tends to prefer physical media or streaming, I think I found a topic that at least most of us can agree on.

This is REALLY absurd...

There is going to be an empty Steelbook release for WandaVision.

Not only does it not come with a disc, but there is no official disc release that can be purchased separately and put into the Steelbook. It's... just an empty case. LOL

It should make bootleggers happy; now they can package their pirated Wandavision discs and make them look like a legitimate product. Only a matter of time before this appears on ebay WITH discs.

Suddenly the forecast is nothing but rain .... oh well... I got the stuff for outdoor movies and I do believe another day it will work out.

Seeing Barbie with 2 of my daughters tomorrow and will see Oppenheimer whenever the disc comes out.

My copy of To Live and Die in L.A. 4K disc arrived today, so will watch that tonight.

If you own Disney discs I would make it so that I could ship over to Australia - you'd be able to make a nice killing in the reselling market via eBay. I'd assume Australians would be pay a premium for them now.

This is not coming from Disney. This is being made by Manta Labs which is an official Disney Licensee nothing more which means they can use Disney images and characters on the steel books they do.

I picked up these two over the weekend:

I think I prefer this version of MOM to the Criterion. Doesn't have the green/dark color shift and retains 7.1 audio, but all the menus are in Korean so just kind of have to poke around to get to the movie.
