Here's another of mine: "official" threads. If a mod calls it "official," so be it. But a thread starter calling it official seems pompous and embarassing to me.

*EDIT: JUST realized that this thread asks about an "official" thread. Didn't notice that before I posted, so this is NOT directed to the OP of this thread.

+1 to that....and that has actually been added to the rules here now. only mods should declare things official

True enough, however I'm living in a province with the second lowest unemployment rate in Canada, that has actually seen the average income of a Manitoban increase this yr, as well as the average cost of a home.

Manitoba has been recession proof due to diversity.

Maybe my experience could be expected in some places, but not here.

It's really pissing me off that it's been more than 8 months since I lost my TT and haven't been able to replace it. It is making me into a grumpy old man!

My wife made me rent Push the other night. So instead of finishing up the 3rd season of "The Wire,"

I get the supreme displeasure of having to endure this 100 minute turd fest. I love it when movies put all their plot and backstory in a 60 second montage during the opening credits. What a mess.

I have another vent! TAXES!

We built our house 2 yrs ago, and paid X amount a month for property taxes. Since then, we've put down sod, built a deck and put up a fence. I got my reassesment this morning!

BAH!

The city wants 20 bucks more a month because I've bettered my home! TAKE TAKE TAKE. Just to line some politicians pocket!

When my front street turns to crap, do I get send them a notice saying I'm reducing my taxes because my street blows!?

Im so freaking tired of every time I open my comcast home page, that there is someting about Jon and or kate.

For the love of god, why does ANYBODY care?

They are not even celebs. they are 2 people who are bimbo and idiot. with 8 kids, and for some reason have a tv show that isn't even interesting to watch.

This is another thing that makes me want to punch somebody whenever I see : OMGZERS Jon has a Pot smoking girlfriend
