Ready for some more rampant speculation based on half of a sentence taken out of context from a live-stream at 1am?

During his appearance on Disc-Connected last night, Brad mentioned that he's had some degree of conversations with Lionsgate about licensing some of their titles that would never make it to the Vestron line because of lack of interest from the studio. Nothing concrete whatsoever yet, but knowing it's in the realm of possibility at all is super exciting.

If such a deal ever materialized, I gotta say the big wants for me are the four Bloody Murder movies, Dead End (2003), Junior, Tobe Hooper's Toolbox Murders remake, Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2 (w/ the Syfy channel Blair Witch mockumentaries) ...and a UHD of 2001 Maniacs! I'm sure they're sitting on other huge stuff we don't even know about too.

Terror Vision wouldn't be snobby about Y2K titles, so I really hope they're the ones who are able to crack the LG nut.

The supernatural part is open to interpretation.
[Show spoiler]It might have been delusions caused by the muffins the cult was pushing in exchange for donations. Outside of the cult members (who presumably also ate the muffins), the lead character/heroine is the only one who saw the demons. They also show her early on eating the muffins. And having other hallucinations

I might have went in with a bit to high of expectations for Captives. I really enjoyed Video Violence, but captives was like a slice of life home invasion flick. Some parts were pretty great, and other parts I was wondering if I should reconsider how I use my free time. 2.5/5

Cannibal Campout I enjoyed it a bit more than Captives, but I wish there had been more banter between the cannibals. I'm not sure how much of it was intentionally funny, but I was really enjoying it near the end. Also, a fighter pilot helmet is a good look. 3/5

Some Guy who Kills People was by far my favorite so far. The dark humor was pretty solid, especially in the beginning, but it seemed to kind of shift tone a bit and get more serious as the movie went on. Kevin Corrigan was great and I loved Karen Black who played the daughter. I also found a lot of the Sheriff's lines at crime scenes pretty great. 4.5/5

Also, I like the Golden Ticket thing in each blu-ray. My plan is to piss Brad off here and than cash in 100 of them so he has to treat me like a VIP.
Those little creep coin add ins are super cool. I'm saving up for the hand drawn Garbage Pail Kids type card Though I am also curious about Ryan making films. I wonder what he made in the past, and if it is available to watch anywhere...

I second the Bloody Murder films. Didn't know there was 4 of them though? I thought there were only two.

Those are oddly nostalgic to me. They have a very "regional slasher" feel to them that seems kind of rare in the early 00's? Obviously the quality of them is meh and there were plenty of STV early 00's slashers at that time but the first two Bloody Murder films stick out to me for some reason.

Agreed with all the above.

As much as I would LOVE Terror Vision to get the original Kickboxer, in the realms of titles that might not make it to the Vestron line, I am thinking the Kickboxer sequels could be amongst those not making the cut.

Kickboxer 2, 3 and 4 would be handled right by Brad, and I would love to see that show!

Brad, I understand if you can't answer something like this and if so you can just ignore the question.

Would you ever release an unauthorized film where every avenue has been exhausted including the lost documents, contracts, releases, etc and bury it in extra features of another movie, deep within a collection of other movies... or is this just something you rather avoid?

Mostly speaking on a film like Love God (1997) that I would love to see get released in any way possible.

I hear you with the nostalgia for them. They are the same for me too. I rewatched Bloody Murder 1 and 2 a couple months back, and both were just as fun. Would be down for a new release.

#3 is The Graveyard (got a ton of premium cable play back in the mid 2000s). Another masked slasher that takes place in the same town, with the previous two Bloody Murder movies referenced as background lore a bit. I adore this film!

#4 is The Butcher (massive title with an iconic DVD cover from that DTV era). I didn't know it was a loose sequel until recently, but apparently it is and was released under the BM branding in other territories.

At the very least Bloody Murder 1 & 2 would feel incomplete without 3 to me. Felsher doesn't seem to be interested any of them, sadly.

I actually think a 4-pack would sell surprisingly well for Vestron if they took the risk. 2000s horror kids are grown now!

Love God is so good. It sucks how an indie studio got bought out by Sony, then again by Universal and now it's seems the documents that were stored away are lost for an awesome film like Love God. Hope they can be found one day.

I think you're technically asking if I would pirate something? Lol. The answer is no. I wouldn't do that. We are very filmmaker first at TV and that goes against everything. Now sharing films where no one makes a dime is ok if a film is destined to die - that makes sense to me.

Love God has an owner though and is doable.

Can anyone comment on Srigala? Any good?

I'm debating on whether I want to do a purchase at some point of Srigala and Escape From Hell Hole as it was mentioned during the Live Stream that these two films would make a cool double feature (since they are Indonesian).

I love WIP films... and I love films from the 70s/80s... I love Filipino films (like Eddie Romero stuff)...

So I'm thinking these could be winners... but I'm not sure...

Go for it, Doc. Would love to say something original here, but if you like the final third of Friday the 13th, you should be fine with Srigala. Although to be fair, it has more than just that connection going for it. Well worth a watch. I had a blast with it. Keep an eye on Terror Vision. Fairly confident that there will always be something they release that you will dig mate. On my 2nd sub and have zero regrets so far.

My master plan is keep subbing until Brad has enough funds to release Kickboxer 1-4, Best of the Best, every single remaining slasher flick, 80s sex comedy, 90s US martial arts, Erotic Thriller and ICED in 4K (blu more likely for ICED), drive him crazy until they are released, by which point he will finally snap and tell me to f**k off.

Obviously I released it so I love Srigala but my two cents is that the whole F13 angle is overplayed with it. It isn’t a remake at all. We used that to try to sell it be honest. It mirrors the 3rd act but for the most part it’s just a hodgepodge of horror. It has some Italian influences, it’s wacky, and it has a cool boat chase sequence. It’s well shot and has an oddball story but it adds a lot of charm to it. It’s also one of the first entires from Rapi until they got really wild in the mid 80s but you can see little pieces kinda set up for more wackiness but they never pulled the trigger.

It’s also a lost slasher film that never had a release outside of Indonesia. Rapi couldn’t even remember if it made it on VHS in Indonesia and we never found any evidence that it had one. It did have a bootleg VCD but it was the TV version where all the blood/gore was cut out. It took me a long ass time to get that film out in the states and pretty personal for me, too.
