I still have yet to ever have watched the original C.H.U.D. All of my CHUD II viewings and comments therefore have been independent of any comparison to the original film and are representative of the film itself, without any other comparisons or pre-conceived notions. With that said I can't help but think anyone expecting a sequel to the original would be incredibly disappointed.

C.H.U.D. II and Blood Diner were two films I had renter's remorse over as a kid, though I'd have to say this edges out Blood Diner as being harder to watch, IMO. That song, man. That song.. if anyone is reading this thread and you're on the fence about buying C.H.U.D II go on youtube and look up the Bud the Chud song. That should give you a good idea of what to expect here.

The song wasn't that bad to me lol. Now Blood Diner, I saw that for the first time a few days ago. Man was that a bad film, simply awful in every way imaginable. I had to fast forward some parts to just get to the end.

I might be one of the few people here that enjoyed Blood Diner for its own whacked out merits.


That said, if someone here HATED C.H.U.D. II and is looking to get rid of it like a bad habit, i'd happily buy it off you so my newly bought Arrow blu of the first film won't remain lonely for much longer. Just make sure you still have the slipcover firsthand.
