I'm okay (not really, but it is what it is) w/ $65, just as long as they don't charge $13 for shipping. I didn't cave on that principle for The Psychic and I won't do it here either.

Not my favourite Soavi but glad it's coming.

Perhaps a future UK release from Arrow or 88 Films??

I was thinking the same thing earlier. I was convinced Vinegar Syndrome would be putting this out.

I've spent more for films I wanted less. This is a must buy.

I can't disagree with that. I will buy it. Just no shady shipping charges please.

I'm not playing $55 UHD games. Especially from Severin.

I've paid more for a single movie before (Dawn of The Dead says hi) but they really gotta make it sweet. Dawn of The Dead was worth it cuz all the work that went into the release being great. Severin makes me cringe so I go auto cautious.

The power of Gnaghi compels you!

On a more serious note, though, I wouldn't be surprised if they charge even more for this release, considering there was apparently a bidding war for it, and it's a title that's been in demand for years, like Four Flies. Severin is counting on FOMO-dreading fans (myself included) to cough up whatever they plan to charge.

For me Severin is pretty reasonably priced for blus and box sets. 4Ks on the other hand are way over priced. Also, dealing with potential issues on their 4K releases makes me apprehensive. VS's release of A Blade in the Dark (love the box btw) for $37 is priced exactly how they should be for the amount of content you get. It's crazy to me that I can buy an imported Arrow UK 4K for $35 or just buy a Severin 4K here for $55 plus shipping.

We all had been waiting so long for the definitive (in my opinion) version of Dawn of the Dead paying £70+ for just one movie was no issue.

Agree. The only weak spot for me is the score. Not that I hate it but it’s not something I’d play on its own. Which is surprising for an Italian horror film. Ducks...

Most of the people on this forum aren't walking farther than the fridge. This will be a "sale exclusive" for $55 or more.

Hopefully it appears in a sale and it's not a limited release.

My biggest issue isn’t the price, it’s that their discs are wildly uneven in quality and they limit the damn ordering window to make people feel like they have to order it before reviews come out. Super scummy. I’m not touching this till there are reviews. I have the bluray and it looks pretty awful - I am hopeful the 4K isn’t as well but I’m not giving SEVERIN the benefit of the doubt. VS or Synapse or even Scream is a safe preorder. Severin…eh.

I've been a big fan of this movie ever since I first saw it in the late '90s. Just a few weeks ago I was wondering why it still hadn't been released on Blu-ray on this side of the pond. I imported the Japanese Blu-ray and I think it looks pretty good. But I'll definitely be picking up the 4K. I just hope this movie finally gets a worthy release from Severin.

shameless released it in the UK and I think they still have the rights to it and if they do we will never get another label to releases it in the UK cause they seam to still have the rights to most of the films they released 12 years ago on DVD that why most of the Italian films that arrow video released In the US cant get a UK releases like the killer nun and the film what have they done to your daughters cause shameless still have them and I don't think they will ever re-releases them cause if they did they would have released them on Blu-ray by now.
