Star Wars (77), Attack Of The Clones and The Last Jedi are the only other times I can think of where we get in cockpit shots of named protagonist and antagonists. Although in TLJ Poe and Kylo didn't actually dogfight each other.

Episode 4 has some up and downs.
The Action was great and the End a really awesome WTF Moment, but than Sabine, oh man she was acting stupid and of course

Majority of the episode was painful to watch. Slow and boring scenes anytime Ahsoka and Sabine are together. Ahsoka defeating inquisitor dude, then, standing only a few meters away from Sabine and Emo Blonde, leaves Sabine alone instead of taking an additional 2 minutes to dispatch Emo Blonde together. WTF?!?!?!? Filoni, you clown! And to no one's surprise, Sabine, now madly in love with Ezra again, says "F it" and gives up the orb. Ok. And of course, the most cringe but predictable moment, Ahsoka can NEVER DIE!!! Come on, man. Lastly, cool to see Ani, but they did a more crap job with him than they did with Luke. In sum, WT everlasting F, Filoni and LFL/Disney???

Do you really expect them to kill off the main character four episodes into her own show?

The acting is painful. The only ones who seems able to deliver a line are Ray Stevenson and the robots. EP 4 has been the best so for. Here's hoping it gets better.
