My copy arrived today.
Was going to watch it Friday night but couldn't wait and wanted to at least check it out.
Watched the first 5 mins of the DVD for a refresher.
Then put in the blu-ray (with gritted teeth expecting an absolute car crash).
Gotta admit - was pleasantly surprised. Very!

When put it on straight after the DVD you really notice the difference.
A decent upgrade for me.

People are right. Not the best blu-ray but this is the best we'll get for now and I'm more than happy with it.
Looking forward to Friday night now.

Mine finally arrived yesterday and although I plan to watch it tonight I did exactly like you did and did a quick check. Totally agree with your comments. I’m so used to seeing this in such atrocious quality, it’s actually a shock to see so many details and colours.

I’d almost given up on this title given all the issues, but this release is very good. Well done to the French company. I’m surprised at the low number of members who’ve logged this in their lists. It’s been released with little fanfare and no review or anything, so maybe a lot of the fans of this film are just unaware it exists.
