The Final Cut has extra material from film, not an upscale of old video like the DC.

I assume the new version of the DC has an improvement in quality as they can now use bits from the Final Cut. Whether this is the same botched "upgraded" version as was seen on the Aussie set remains to be seen...

Anyway, even if they did dig up the motorway, does anyone seriously believe there'd be usable film there after 50 years? LOL.

33.32 is closer to 50 than zero so you round it off to 50 = almost 3 times.

It's around 2 times
UK SteelBook release is 4 discs
USA release is only 2 discs and only Final Cut

USA SteelBook is $21.99
3 times $21.99 = $65.97
2 times $21.99 = $43.98

UK SteelBook price with vat is £39.99 and without vat is £33.32
£33.32 = $42.24

Customers with a USA delivery address don't pay vat when ordering from Amazon UK or other Amazon EU websites
Vat is removed at checkout

Mine just arrived from Orbit. Pull it out of a pristine box with wonderful padding only to find it looks like someone stepped on the top portion. Didn’t even have to pull it out of the shrinkwrap to see it. Supremely annoyed.

Just got mine from Orbit, too. Looks perfect. Firt time I've ordered from Orbit, and I have to say that I would rate this packaging as better than DiabolikDVD (they're both excellent, though).
