Whatever the case, I guess people thought the Cards were just gonna lay down but their two losses were only by a combined seven points, they were in both of those games. I think Cowboys fans were hyped by their two wins even though by week 3 we now can see how garbage the Giants and Jets are.
Speaking of the Jets, they should just go ahead and see what Minny wants for Cousins since the Vikes are now 0-3. Or maybe NYJ is just fine calling this season a wash now since MIA looks scary. Unless Tua gets injured again, the division is probably the Dolphins to lose.

Cowboys were terrible in the red zone, they still win that game if they converted more TDS.

Cowboys have been bad in the red zone 2 out of 3 weeks this year, I'd make it a focus this week in practice.

back to the Jets. While Cousins as the stopgap has been the obvious answer - have seen some fans throwing out Wentz and McCoy as well. Those would be cheaper options and really at this point, anyone is a better option than Wilson sheesh.

Why in the world would you kick a field goal if you are down 8 points.
Even if you do not get the 2 point conversion, you only need a field goal to win. If you fail on 4th down, you still need a touch down no matter what.

yeah I saw that report, which was before yesterdays loss, which even after the game Saleh says they are sticking with Wilson. reports are players in the locker room are pretty frustrated. what is the incentive to tank? I get that Rodgers injury was a big setback but the rest of the roster was built to contend this year. A decent QB, anyone other than Wilson, could at least get them a wild card berth, momentum for next season when Rodgers returns.

MVP-winning quarterback-turned-booth announcer Matt Ryan said Monday he has "no interest" in coming out of retirement to play for the New York Jets.

Ryan, 38, was addressing a report from Sunday that his representatives had reached out to the Jets in the aftermath of Aaron Rodgers' season-ending Achilles injury. Ryan said his agent was just doing his job to check on potential opportunities but that he's content right where he is.


"My agent is one of the best at what he does -- Todd France is incredible. And he wouldn't be doing his job if he wasn't looking into certain situations. But he and I talked and I've got no interest in doing that right now. I'm enjoying what I'm doing," Ryan said Monday on CBS Sports.com.

Regardless, the Jets declined to engage on Ryan anyway.

Ryan joined CBS Sports as an analyst in May but said at the time that "this is not a retirement post."

Ryan went 124-109-1 in 15 seasons and threw for 62,792 yards and 381 touchdowns with the Atlanta Falcons (2008-21) and Indianapolis Colts (2022).

Fox Sports reported that Carson Wentz also reached out to the Jets but was told the team remains committed to quarterback Zach Wilson.

Wentz, 30, compiled a 46-45-1 record with 22,129 passing yards and 151 TDs in five seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles (2016-20) and one each with the Colts (2021) and Washington Commanders (2022).

At this point it is hard to argue against that thought, i mean these guys are nearly begging for the chance to see what they could do with this team and more then likely for peanuts. Why not try something unless the goal is to play for a top 5 pick.

This is what the 3rd year of not even mediocrity from Wilson, these guys either have it, or in Wilson case they don't!

Funny part is if KC makes the SB & they are still a thing by then she cant even be there cause she has a concert in tokyo on SB eve so with the time diff + travel prob cant make it back here in time....though with her who knows.

I should say the joke that people are all getting wrong is they keep saying that there will be Kelce inspired songs on her next album....but the problem is her next album is already coming out next month as she's doing her version of her 1989 titled album (an awesome album btw) & it has new songs but everything's been recorded already so no kelce songs yet.

Cause coaches are constantly making stupid game management & time decisions.
On vsin the next day they always go over all the mistakes & they apply a mathematical probability to the situation & of course it showed win %wise it was a mistake.
Even in betting Pit was a -500 fav before that FG.....after LV kicked the FG PIT went to -1000 a bigger fav.
It's like he was doing the joke that you can't pass up the opportunity to turn a 1 score game into a 1 score game.
