This looks pretty good. Can't say for sure yet since it was more of an interview with Bruckheimer. Perhaps a trailer will shed more light on the subject.

I'm with you, VERY poor choice if you ask me!! I'd like to see this movie as well but I have a feeling he might ruin the whole thing. He doesn't even look believable.

I'd watch it, but I have a sneaking suspicion it'll be on par with The Scorpion King in terms of quality.

Jake and the chick don't even look close to being Persian. Plus this is a Disney action adventure. Sure it worked with Pirates of the Caribbean. I'm not so sure about this.

I think it will automatically be better than that, being that it's 2 biggest stars are Ben Kingsley and Jake Gylenhall

Apparently there've been changes since then (in the script Dastan is one of four brothers whereas in the movie he's a street urchin that's chosen as heir to the throne because the king doesn't want his two sons battling for the throne) but, much like Goyer's early draft for Batman Begins, I'm sure this draft gives a clear idea of the tone/style and storyline they're going for.

After reading that script, I know I'll be there opening day.

Will give a shot but for some reason Im not that interested. Hope I do like because Im a fan of the games but will give it a fair shot as a movie
