Wouldn't it be great if Amazon.ca was as competitive as Amazon.com? I put 8 items in the cart at Amazon.com and it came to $122. They wanted an extra $44 for shipping and duty so I quickly deleted that order.

I don't know why Amazon.ca can't just get their act together and start having blu sales that matter to me. They're getting better but still a ways off, especially on items like Transformers and stuff.
your comments are all echos i've herd once so many times from too many people. its true and sad but hey, despite that i love living here cuz i ALWAYS seem to get better retail pricing on EVERYTHING compared to Americans on release day.... Star Trek 6 Disc Collection, Fast & Furious Trilogy, Star Trek Season 1, (Most E1 Titles) HMV Trade and Save Promos, Blockbuster $9.99 Sales, SIG Daily $12.99 Killers and Most Recently Watchmen. so i love living here in Canada and reaping all the deals! i said, who needs amazon.ca

Amazon.ca isn't great but their prices are usually better than FS and BB. Of course there are exceptions but on more titles than not this is the case.

The original Columbia House has been the best for me though.

The French CHCanada has some interesting titles:

True Romance
Ghostbusters

It would be great to see those hit $13.99.

I also saw Blade Runner

You guys are lucky that you are still growing your collection. I've pretty much gotten all my catalogue releases on my wishlist other then the american sin city so I'm pretty much on the lookout for only new releases!! It's hard for me even to make suggestons for 13.99 movies I'd like to see!! I guess i'm fortunate that I can take advantage of US deals such as the deep discount one and wb shop b2g1 so that drives my costs down a lot.

A bit disappointed given that Tropic Thunder was a $13.99 selection a while back, but ultimately gotta be happy with the number of great BRs I've gotten at such great prices.

Hey Savvy Guy,

I was wondering if you would be able to send in the request for the Pitch Black/Chronicles of Riddick 2 pack for $ 27.98?

Thanks!

True Romance would be something I would buy. Also Seven and Serenity.

I just ordered Wanted, Fifth Element, Incredible Hulk, and The Reader from the Columbia House site so I don't need those now.

Yep, I have been going crazy.

I have an Amazon.com GC that I need to use too... shipping is a killer.

alot of sellers in the trade forum accept payment via amazon.GC and their prices are all great and include shipping. i'd recommend you'd get best value for your $$ there. i pretty much ALWAYS shop exclusively from the trade forums here and on HDD from now on. only the odd retail buy for me here and there.

This was just a code I was sent by My Points though. I used it to order Ghostbusters and 2001: A Space Odyssey. The two movies came to $19.48, and they charged me $33 including shipping and duty. I won't be using them again unless they change their policy.

I don't accept Amazon.com GC anymore because the ridiculous shipping rates, as well as the import fees that they now charge. I just used my last $65 at Amazon buying a couple of concert Blu-rays just to finish it out. From now on, I'll ask for Amazon.ca GC.
