Bill Daily starred in "Rendezvous Hotel" and Daily was also in another 'rip-off' of sorts in 1980: A female-starred take-off of "Fantasy Island" titled VALENTINE MAGIC ON LOVE ISLAND. → This TVM was released on VHS in the U.S. as "Magic on Love Island" -- I've seen it before but foolishly didn't buy it. Now it's rare. Wish I could remember the label it was issued on. Maybe it was MAGNUM Entertainment . . .

There are still quite a few made-for-television movies that have not materialized on any homevideo medium to date or were released one time (like the Norwegian "Rendezvous Hotel" tape) and haven't been heard from since.

I dig these old TVMs. Think I've got about 350 of them; maybe more.
